PRO BONO LEGAL AID AND ADVICE
At Juris Emeralds, we offer free legal assistance and consultations to underserved communities that can make a significant impact on access to justice. We provide free legal aid and assistance; offering complimentary legal advice and representation to underserved communities, ensuring access to justice for all.
In the post-COVID times in 2022, our group of volunteer lawyers provided pro bono services to the inhabitants of the neighbouring rural areas in Karnataka facing various legal issues such as domestic violence and cyber-crimes. This support ensured that such vulnerable populations received quick and fair legal remedies to redress their problems.
SOCIAL INITIATIVES
We engage in social initiatives which require our active participation in projects and programs aimed at addressing various socio-legal
issues. In the recent past, we have undertaken initiatives to combat youth unemployment by providing mentorship programs and skill
development projects for disadvantaged youth in the legal community.
WOMEN AND CHILD RIGHTS EDUCATION, AWARENESS, EMPOWERMENT
Advocating for women's and children's rights involves not only educating them about their rights but also empowering them to stand up for themselves. Our primary focus has been on promoting women's and children's rights while passionately advocating their rights through education, awareness campaigns, and empowerment programs. We addressed the same by organizing various online webinars and workshops to teach women about their legal rights and provide resources for starting small businesses, thus fostering economic empowerment.
LEGAL LITERACY AND ADVOCACY - FREE INFORMATION AND LEGAL SUPPORT
We strive to offer legal literacy and advocacy programs to make a significant difference in our communities. We have developed and designed free legal information sessions to educate citizens about their rights and responsibilities. Our sessions aim to provide pro-bono advocacy services to individuals facing discrimination, help them file complaints and navigate legal processes effectively.
